Service Description

End-of-life planning is a hard thing to face, and it’s made even more difficult by confusion and misunderstanding about legal issues. Take the mystery out of the many issues surrounding planning for the end of life or serious illness. Participants will gain a better understanding of their options and receive PRACTICAL ADVICE IN PLAIN ENGLISH about wills, trusts, power of attorney, living trusts and administering an estate after the death of a family member. <> When someone dies, what’s the job of an estate administrator? <> Do you need a will or a trust, and what’s the difference? <> Must I have a will to appoint a guardian for my children? <> Can’t I just download a power of attorney from the internet? Erica will address these questions and more. In addition, she will provide time for additional questions about estate planning. Erica Johnson is a partner in Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson law firm where she focuses on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living trusts, and estate administration. She has led several RECCS U workshops with extremely positive feedback. Erica was awarded her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law.
