Hear stories from the men and women who lived the life that Kristin Hannah wrote about in her latest book, "The Women". While focused on the experience of women in the Vietnam War, her 2024 book reflects how women have bravely stepped into harm's way, but have been dismissed from history. It's also a book about friendship forged through the most difficult of circumstances. This is a panel presentation featuring nurses and doctors representing all armed forces. An informal reception will be included in this RECCS U class, organized by Jean Jaffe, RECCS Board member.
