Hear stories from the men and women who lived the life that Kristin Hannah wrote about in her latest book, "The Women". While focused on the experience of women in the Vietnam War, her 2024 book reflects the challenge of medical care in harm's way. It's also a book about friendship forged through the most difficult of circumstances. Veterans are welcome to attend this presentation free of charge. This is a panel presentation featuring Lt. Carol Brautigam (Navy), Lt. Col. Martha Baker (Army), Lt. Karren Kowalski (Army), HM3 Gary Weston ( Navy) and Lt. Col. Tom Frey (Air Force). The panel will be moderated by Jaclyn Allen ( Weekend Anchor and Consumer Investigative Reporter for Denver 7 News). An informal reception will be included in this RECCS U class, organized by Jean Jaffe, RECCS Board member.
