Service Description

The Co-coordinators of Aurora Special Olympics will lead a presentation including handouts, a PowerPoint, and a question/answer session. Topics to be addressed include: - What is Special Olympics? - Who benefits from Special Olympics and how? - Who runs Special Olympics? - How does the program change lives of athletes, parents, coaches, volunteers, partners and Special Olympics employees? - How can you support Special Olympics? Mary Stratton - former math and special education teacher, parent of a 39 year-old special needs adult. Presently co-coordinator of Aurora Special Olympics. Marni McNeese -Self-employed and co-coordinator of Aurora Special Olympics, parent of 21 year-old special needs step-son, and sister to a 42 year-old special needs brother.
