Visit The Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum and enjoy a lunch in Golden
Meet at ESC at 9:00 to carpool to Golden. The museum has two floors in which it displays fossils, gemstones, meteorites, minerals and mining artifacts, including the Colorado lunar displays. The museum acts as the Colorado state repository for mineral heritage. Take in over 15,000 square feet of rocks, minerals, and fossils. See the Miss Colorado’s Crown containing over 600 gemstones and 21 diamonds. Take yourself to Golden’s geologic past through the windows or hike the Bob Weimer trails and visit triceratops trackways. Also enjoy the mining murals.

Celebrate Pi 3.14 ! We will listen to stories told by Cherry Creek Spellbinder Storytellers and eat pie on the 14th of the 3rd month. Pi r square, but our pies will be round!
