Travel Open House

Service Description

We are finally at the stage of life where we have time to travel! Who best to answer our many questions than fellow retirees with similar interests? This open house will feature a dozen opportunities to visit with several travel "hosts" including Jim and Penny McDermott, Michele Walker, Jeff and Jan Vittal, Deena Tarleton, Karyl Petit, Dave and Mary Pieta, Marilyn Kemp, Eileen Katz, Alan and Jean Jaffe, and Don and JoAnne Hart. Participants can visit hosts at 4 - 7 tables over the two-hour open house. Each table will be identified with host's names and area of expertise. Chat with each host informally to learn about their traveling itineraries, preparation and lessons learned. Topics include: - international destinations : Australia, South Africa, Canada, Egypt, Italy, England, Iceland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland, and more -domestic destinations: Alaska, Colorado New York City, Utah, national parks and more , -different styles of travel: river and ocean cruises , safaris, guided tours, solo travel, -concept travel : birding, artistic/ religious pursuits, and family heritage visits, -packing tips and tricks We will share refreshments too!
