Service Description

At some time in the past, you could easily carry on a conversation in French. It was so rewarding that you would love to do so again! Perhaps you have an upcoming trip and would like to be at your sharpest to navigate and connect in another French-speaking culture. Join us for 3, 2-hour sessions to reignite your French-speaking voice. The group will set discussion topics in advance. These might include travel experiences/dreams, cuisine, culture, global issues or other topics of interest. Participants should be conversant in French. Language support materials will be available. Structured and informally led by two francophones : Pitou Ireland and Karyl Petit. French was Pitou's native language. When she attended school, her everyday language became English. Extended trips to Belgium and French classes in high school and college gave her a chance to maintain her language. Karyl taught French for Cherry Creek Schools and travels in France regularly to visit with her husband's family. Both look forward to this opportunity to practice a beautiful language!
